Hometown Events - Blueberry Festival

Here at Spectrum Electrical Services, Inc. we are all about supporting hometown events taking place in Montrose, PA and the surrounding areas, encouraging the local community to flourish! One event which takes place every year, right in our hometown, is the Blueberry Festival.

Here’s a section of comment from their website to give you some history about the festival: “The Blueberry Festival began in 1980 as a fundraising event for the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association. Since its beginning, the Festival has been a community celebration, which has grown into an eagerly-awaited event supported by the partnership of hundreds of volunteers and the dedication of local businesses. The Blueberry Festival represents small town life at its finest. Thousands of people gather each year to enjoy the food, fun and friendship. All funds raised at the Festival are used to operate the Susquehanna County Historical Society and Free Library Association, which includes library locations in Forest City, Hallstead-Great Bend, Montrose and Susquehanna; an Outreach Services department; the county museum; and a genealogical research center.”

Check out the festival website below for more information - we will see you there!
