Fall Arrest Program / Safety Harness

Did you know falls are one of the leading causes of injury and death in the construction workforce today as reported by OSHA surveys? Hence why OSHA mandates companies have fall protection programs in place and provide employees with safety harnesses and such equipment. Here at Spectrum Electrical Services, Inc. we do both! On the construction site many workers will avoid using harnesses or personal arrest systems because they are time consuming to prepare and a hassle to use they say, but we would strongly encourage you to refuse to work without one. Yes it may take some extra time on the front end, but it could cost you your life if you choose to do the task without proper safeguards in place.
