Safety First

Here at Spectrum Electrical Services, Inc. we take safety very seriously and make it a priority at our projects, warehouses, and office building; creating a healthy environment for our employees and industry affiliates to work in. As part of our safety recognition program and protocol relating to head injury, all Spectrum employees are required to always wear head protection when on a job site. OSHA states that serious head injuries can occur from blows to an employee's head, leaving this solution: "Be sure that workers wear hard hats where there is a potential for objects falling from above, bumps to their heads from fixed objects, or accidental head contact with electrical hazards." As this article continued, it lists that hard hats are to be regularly checked for dents, cracks, and deterioration. Hard hats are to be replaced after a heavy blow or electrical shock and are to be maintained with other personal protective equipment (PPE). Spectrum Electrical Services, Inc. provides all employees and anyone visiting their job sites with MSA approved hard hats in order to maintain the standard of safety our company demands, in conjunction with state and OSHA regulations.
