Welcome Wednesday - Rusty

Here at Spectrum we do "welcome Wednesdays" where we introduce one of our employees for the community to get to know a little bit, this way you know who may be showing up to your project. 

This week's "welcome Wednesday" employee is Shop Manager, Rusty Russell. After being homeschooled Rusty attended Word of Life Bible Institute for a year, came home to marry his high school sweetheart and then spent his next several years working at New Milford Hardware before being offered a position here at Spectrum. Rusty can always be found in the shop or driving trucks; sorting inventory, performing routine maintenance on equipment and delivering tools to the field employees are his daily activities. Anyone who knows Rusty would describe him as a quiet and humble person who enjoys the fall season and camping around the US with his family.  Rusty also enjoys hunting, lifting and woodworking. When asked his favorite part of the industry, he responded "the knowledge learned from experience electricians and visits from Dawson" - Eric's son who likes to bring baked goods to the employees in the office!
